In collecting and processing personal information, specialists.dev undertakes to comply with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (S.C. 2000, c. 5).

1. What we collect
When you submit a mandate, we collect: your company name, your name, your work email, and the description of the need you send us.
When you apply as a consultant, we collect: your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to provide it, and the message you write.
If you provide the address of your LinkedIn profile, we collect it with the rest of the form. The form accepts no file: a resume or a job description is sent after a first exchange, by email.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics tool.
2. For what purpose
An application is used to assess your profile and, where applicable, to offer you an assignment. A company request is used to answer it and prepare a service offer.
Your information is not sold and is not used for any other purpose without your agreement.
3. On what basis
We process your information on the basis of your consent, given by submitting the form, for the purposes described above.
You may withdraw it at any time, without justification. Withdrawal ends the processing and results in the deletion of your file.
4. Who has access
Only specialists.dev staff responsible for recruitment or for the business relationship have access to your information.
No profile is passed to a client company without your prior agreement, given case by case for an identified mandate.
5. Outside Quebec
Forms reach us by email. Delivery goes through a sending service established in the United States, which keeps a technical record of it. Our mailboxes are hosted by Microsoft, whose servers may be located outside Quebec.
We manage application and mandate files in recruitment management software published by a company established in France, and therefore subject to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Its servers may be located outside Canada.
Your information may therefore be communicated outside Quebec.
6. For how long
Application not retained: two years from the last exchange, then destruction.
Company request: the duration of the business relationship, then three years.
You may request deletion before these deadlines.
7. Automated decisions
Screening of applications and technical assessment are done by people.
8. Security
The information you send is not stored in any database on this site: it travels by email, then is kept in our mailboxes and in our recruitment management software, access to which is restricted. Our mailboxes are protected by two-factor authentication.
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will inform you and report the incident to the Commission d'accès à l'information.
9. Your rights
You may request access to your information, its correction, its deletion, the withdrawal of your consent, or its communication in a structured technological format so you can transfer it elsewhere.
Write to dpo@specialists.dev. We respond within thirty days.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.
